Website Terms & Conditions
Version 1.0 · Effective September 2026 · Last updated September 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nuela website at nuela.co.uk and any information or free services made available through it.
By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
1. About Nuela
This website is operated by Nuela Ltd (“Nuela”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a UK-based business operations and technology consultancy working with organisations in the UK and internationally.
- Company
- Nuela Ltd
- Company number
- 16287957
- Website
- nuela.co.uk
These Terms relate primarily to use of our website and free services offered through it.
Paid consulting services are subject to separate proposals, Statements of Work, engagement terms or other written agreements between Nuela and the relevant client.
2. Business use
Our website and services are intended primarily for organisations and people acting in a business or professional capacity.
The information provided through this website is general information about Nuela, our approach and the types of business problems we help organisations address.
3. Using our website
You may use our website for lawful business and informational purposes.
You must not:
- misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its operation or security;
- knowingly introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its hosting environment or connected systems;
- use the website in a way that infringes the rights of Nuela or another person or organisation; or
- use our content in a misleading, unlawful or unauthorised manner.
We may suspend or restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal or operational reasons.
4. Website information is not specific professional advice
We aim to provide useful and accurate information, but website content is provided for general business information only.
It is not a substitute for advice based on a proper understanding of your organisation, circumstances, objectives and available evidence.
You should not make significant business, operational, technology, financial, legal, regulatory or other decisions solely in reliance on general information published on this website.
A consulting relationship with Nuela is not created merely because you use the website, submit an enquiry, apply for a Friction Finder or attend an initial conversation.
5. Free Nuela Friction Finder
Nuela may offer eligible organisations a free Friction Finder.
The Friction Finder is intended to provide a short, high-level professional review of one business process based primarily on information provided by the participant during the application and conversation.
Applications
Submitting an application does not guarantee that a Friction Finder will be offered.
Nuela reviews applications using professional judgement and may accept, decline or redirect an enquiry where we believe another conversation or service would be more appropriate.
Unless otherwise stated, an organisation may receive a maximum of one free Friction Finder.
Scope
A Friction Finder may include discussion of:
- how the selected process currently works;
- people, teams or systems involved;
- areas of friction, delay or uncertainty;
- apparent failure points, dependencies or risks;
- the impact of the current process; and
- what an improved outcome might look like.
Following the conversation, Nuela may provide a short snapshot summarising our observations and suggested next steps.
What the Friction Finder does not include
Unless Nuela expressly agrees otherwise in writing, the free Friction Finder does not include:
- a comprehensive operational, technology, security, financial or regulatory audit;
- detailed process mapping;
- substantiated root-cause analysis;
- detailed investigation of systems or data;
- detailed solution or system design;
- quantified business-case development;
- implementation planning; or
- implementation of recommendations.
Any observations or recommendations are necessarily based on the limited information available to us during the Friction Finder.
The organisation remains responsible for deciding whether and how to act on them.
Availability
Friction Finders are offered at Nuela’s discretion and are subject to availability. We may change, pause or withdraw the offer at any time.
6. Paid services
Information on this website about paid services, including indicative scope or published prices, does not by itself create a binding engagement.
Before paid consulting work begins, the scope, deliverables, responsibilities, fees and other relevant commercial terms will be agreed separately.
Where there is any conflict between these Website Terms and the terms of a specific paid engagement, the terms agreed for that engagement will take precedence in relation to that work.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original content, branding, written materials, frameworks, graphics and other materials are owned by or licensed to Nuela and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view, print or download reasonable extracts for your own internal business or personal reference.
You must not reproduce, republish, sell, commercially exploit, modify or distribute substantial parts of our content without our prior written permission.
References to third-party brands, trademarks, research or other material remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Client and case-study information
Examples, results, case studies or descriptions of previous work may be used to illustrate Nuela’s experience and approach.
Past results do not guarantee that another organisation will achieve the same outcome. Results depend on the circumstances, available evidence, implementation and other factors specific to each organisation.
Where examples are anonymised or summarised, they are intended to illustrate the nature or impact of relevant experience without unnecessarily identifying confidential client information.
9. Third-party websites and services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, research, booking systems, forms or other services.
Links are provided for convenience or supporting information. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a link does not mean that Nuela endorses or controls the third-party website, organisation, product or service.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy arrangements.
Nuela is not responsible for the availability or content of third-party websites or for how those third parties operate their services.
10. Website availability and accuracy
We aim to keep the website available, accurate and useful, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors.
Business information, services, pricing and other website content may change.
We may update, amend, suspend or remove website content where reasonably necessary.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by law, Nuela is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on general website content where no specific consulting engagement has been agreed.
We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by a user’s misuse of the website.
Liability relating to paid consulting services will be governed by the terms of the relevant engagement rather than these Website Terms.
12. Privacy and website technologies
Our use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Our website may also use cookies, local storage or similar technologies. Information and available choices relating to these technologies are provided through our website and cookie settings.
13. International use
Nuela operates internationally and this website may be accessed from different countries.
We do not represent that every part of the website or every service described on it is appropriate or available in every jurisdiction.
If you access or use the website from outside the UK, you are responsible for complying with any local laws that apply to your use of the website.
Specific international consulting engagements may be subject to additional contractual, regulatory, privacy or other requirements.
14. Governing law
These Website Terms and any dispute or claim arising from or relating to use of this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Subject to any rights or jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms where our website, services, business or legal requirements change.
The current version will be published on our website with its version number and last updated date.
Continued use of the website after updated Terms are published will be subject to the version in effect at the time of that use.
